Engagement
The Engagement module involves your audience: polls, quizzes and contests that visitors join live via QR code — no account needed.
Create an activity
Section titled “Create an activity”- Engagement → Polls & Quiz → New activity: pick a type (poll, quiz, contest), add a title and questions/options.
- Start the activity — the participation link and QR code are generated.
Enabling the module provides the Moderator module role, which may manage activities.
Participation via QR code
Section titled “Participation via QR code”- Visitors scan the QR code and participate anonymously (no registration); repeated participation is technically limited.
- Results come in live — ideal for events, assemblies or streams.
Moderation
Section titled “Moderation”In the activity view you see incoming responses in real time, can approve/hide entries (contest) and pause or end the activity.
Coupling with tournaments
Section titled “Coupling with tournaments”Activities can be coupled to a tournament (auto trigger): when a heat goes live, the coupled activity switches to active automatically — and the public live tournament page shows a “Join in” panel for spectators.
- Keep questions short — participation happens on the phone between two heats.
- Combine contest + sponsoring: “Win a board from sponsor X” creates reach for both sides.
