AI assistant
The AI assistant helps you write your content — right inside the News, Blog and Event editors. It is available to organizations on the Pro plan and is EU-hosted (Scaleway, Paris/Amsterdam), so your content never leaves the EU.
Opening
Section titled “Opening”At the top of the editor you’ll find the “AI assistant” button (only visible for Pro organizations). It opens a window with three modes: Draft, Improve and Translate.
Enter a topic or bullet points — the AI proposes a title and body text. Example: “Club festival on 12 July, barbecue, live music, free entry”.
Improve
Section titled “Improve”Reworks your existing text. Pick a variant:
- Shorten — tightens the text without losing key points.
- Expand — adds fitting detail.
- More formal / More casual — adjusts the tone.
- Grammar — fixes spelling and punctuation.
Translate
Section titled “Translate”In articles (News/Blogs): you pick the target languages (e.g. EN/FR/IT/PT). The AI
translates title, excerpt and content from the default language and fills the matching
language tabs — the original stays untouched. In the preview you see the result per language
and apply it with “Apply all” or individually. A • marks language tabs that already
have content and will be overwritten on apply; empty translated fields overwrite nothing.
In events: events have no language tabs — here the translated text is shown as a result you can apply to the content.
Translating pages & widgets
Section titled “Translating pages & widgets”You can also translate inside the page editor (widget editor) — here it is translate-only, no generation. The translate icon opens a popup where you pick the target languages and translate either the whole page (icon at the top of the editor) or a single widget (icon next to the DE/EN tabs in the widget configuration). All text fields are translated (including list entries); the results fill the widgets’ language tabs. The “overwrite existing translations” toggle decides whether existing translations are kept (default) or replaced. As everywhere, nothing is applied until you Save — review the result via the language tabs first.
Preview & apply
Section titled “Preview & apply”Nothing is ever overwritten automatically — every result appears as a preview first:
- Draft / Improve: Apply title, Append (to existing text) or Replace.
- Translate: Apply per language or Apply all.
Limits & privacy
Section titled “Limits & privacy”- Pro plan required; without it the button does not appear.
- EU-hosted (Scaleway) — your content stays in the EU.
- To keep costs in check there is a daily per-organization limit; when reached, a note asks you to try again later.
- Tip: always review AI suggestions — they can contain mistakes. The preview keeps you in control of what gets applied.
