License & limits
Every organization runs on a license (Free, Basic or Pro) with four limits. MOEP continuously measures where your organization stands, shows it to you transparently, and hard-stops the relevant action once a limit is reached — this is what keeps the platform stable for every organization.
Where you see your standing
Section titled “Where you see your standing”Settings → License & limits. The page shows your active license, your enabled modules, and a usage bar for each of the four metrics. Only organization administrators see this page.
What is measured

A bar showing “unlimited” means this license has no cap on that metric. A greyed-out row saying “Not included in this license” means the metric isn’t enabled for your plan — for example AI tokens on Free and Basic, since the AI assistant requires the Pro plan.
At 80% — warning
Section titled “At 80% — warning”Once a metric reaches 80% of its limit, two things happen:
- The bar on the license page turns amber.
- Every organization administrator gets an in-app notification. Email delivery for this notification is off by default — you can turn it on yourself under your own Profile → Notifications.
Nothing is blocked yet — this is an early warning so you can react before it gets tight.
At 100% — hard limit
Section titled “At 100% — hard limit”Once a metric reaches 100%, the bar turns red and the affected action is blocked:

Either way, you get a clear error message right where you triggered the action — e.g. on upload or when inviting a member.
Important: Plain platform emails — password reset and email verification — are exempt from the email metric. Even if your organization’s email allowance is exhausted, you can still log in and reset your password at any time.
When counting periods reset
Section titled “When counting periods reset”- AI tokens and emails count per calendar month. The license page shows the date of the next reset (e.g. “Resets on 1 August”) — the allowance then starts again from zero.
- Storage and members are point-in-time figures with no reset: storage usage only goes down when you delete media; the member count only goes down when a member is removed.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- The four limit values per plan (Free/Basic/Pro), and any exceptions for individual organizations, are set by the platform operator — as an organization administrator you only see your own standing, not a management view.
- If a limit is nearly reached, the license page points you directly to contacting the platform operator for an adjustment — MOEP has no self-service purchase flow.
- In your notification list the entry appears as
limit.warning— that’s the internal name of this notification type.
